Vehicle Dynamic Control
We brought Artificial Intelligence to bicycle suspension to understand ride attitude and environmental conditions: bike dynamic detecting algorithms can estimate slope, roll, ground roughness, pedal frequency, and can detect jumps.
A system of sensors can measure the dynamic behavior of the bike. A Smart Battery Pack, placed inside the bike frame, controls electronically the suspension, locking and unlocking it, and includes a power unit serving the whole system.
An hydraulic damping system allows to lock and unlock the suspension, choosing between a stiff – for example on asphalt – and a soft one – for example on pavé. The mechanics include an elastomer element and a piggyback for the electronic calculator.
A human machine interface placed on the handlebar lets the biker manage the system, locking and unlocking the suspension. A rider experience interface provides all the performance statistics, that can be displayed on any smartphone, tablet, or PC.
